Delivery and Carriage Charges
We try to make the delivery process as simple as possible and are able to send your order either to your home or to your place of work. We will post out within 5 working days and will contact you if we become aware of any unexpected delays.

Standard delivery

• £3.95 for all shop products
• FREE delivery for Lecture tickets, Museum entry tickets and Museum Membership

For large, bulky or heavy items there may be an additional postage charge. We will only charge the actual cost of postage on these items and will call or email you to advise.

Next Working Day Delivery
If you need your item delivered by the next working day, please call us before midday to see if this is possible. Alternatively, you can arrange to collect from the museum.

Payment
We only accept online payments through Paypal. If you see something you like and don’t wish to set up a Paypal account, please call the shop and we can arrange to take payment over the phone, our number is 01326 214550.

All submission of payment details and indeed all customer details are safeguarded by recognised encryption software.

Ordering
Whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing, there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation arise you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to buy, not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.

Returns
Any product may be returned for a full refund or exchanged for goods of equal value if returned, unused within 21 days of receipt. Before returning an item please contact the shop on 01326 214550

All returns must be directed to:
Museum Shop, DQE Trading, Discovery Quay, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 3QY.

Each returned item must be accompanied by a copy of the customer’s original receipt, original packaging, relevant warranties, contact details and a covering letter explaining the reasons for the return and the required course of action.

In the event that the items are faulty, then a replacement item will be sent or the item will be forwarded to the manufacturer for resolution. In either event you will be informed of the course of action taken.

We strongly recommend that you get proof of postage when you send us your return. DQE Trading will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. All shipping back to DQE Trading is paid for by the customer. We are unable to refund your postal fees.

Incorrect/Damaged Goods
We try very hard to ensure that you receive the correct order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your products ordered please contact us as soon as possible. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately, this will be given special priority and you can expect to receive the correct item within 48 hours. For any incorrect items received all delivery charges will be refunded back onto your credit/debit card.

Export restrictions
Our internet site only calculates the cost of postage to send goods within the UK. If however you have a special request please contact us with your requirements. Please contact the museum shop on 01326 214550 for overseas enquires. Your Statutory Rights are not affected.

Alternatively, place an order and we will then contact you via email with the price of delivery for the order to your country.

By submitting your order to us you are allowing us to use your personal details to supply you with the items you have specified. Your personal details will be passed to no third parties other than those required to supply you with such goods. By submitting your personal details to us you have become a customer of DQE Trading. In no event will DQE Trading be liable to any part for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages for any use of this site, or on any other hyperlinked web site, including, without limitation, any lost profits, business interruption, loss of programs or other data on your information handling system or otherwise, even if DQE Trading is expressly advised of the possibility of such damages.
