Swallows & Amazons for ever!

This intimate display celebrates the life and works of Arthur Ransome, the much loved author of the Swallows and Amazons series of books. The display features two stunning boats once owned by Arthur Ransome, Swallow and Coch-y-Bonddu. On top of this there is an authentic tent from the period and illustrations taken from the books. And there is the chance to see another of Ransome’s boats, Nancy Blackett, on our pontoon in mid-May (subject to sail times), when she will be visiting the museum for the Arthur Ransome Society Annual Gathering.
