"Loved the Search & Rescue exhibition"

As a lifelong supporter of the RNLI I loved the Search & Rescue exhibition. There were lots of things to keep technical hubby interested too. The Bronze Age boatbuilding was unexpected & it was lovely to have a ‘live’ exhibition. The museum building is fabulous. (Jan 2012)

"Very good value for money"

My favourite bit today was finding out how many people were rescued by the rowing boats from the SS Suevic shipwreck. It’s very good value for money because as I’m local I can keep re-visiting & take things in bit by bit. Good range of books in the shop. Very friendly & approachable staff. (Sept 2012)

"What a great day out"

Visited on a rainy New Years Eve with two boys aged 6 & 8, who left 2 hours later beaming. It was great to have a ‘museum’ that was very hands on and where my two boys could climb on things, dress up as RNLI crew, sail boats and generally have a good time. Thanks to a great team. (December 2012)

"We love coming to the Maritime Museum"

We love coming to the Maritime Museum as there is always something new to see. The activities that are put on are spot on for my children and the creative and happy staff who assist make it a pleasure to take part. I always love the fact you can see what is going on under the sea, or get to the lookout point to check out Falmouth. Great value and a really superb day out for the family. (May 2012)

"I was incredibly impressed"

The Museum has really developed over the years. I love the interactive displays & the big exhibitions, e’g. lighthouses & Search & Rescue. It’s always interesting to see the different boats hanging up. We really liked the Titanic exhibition. It is well worth the year’s subscription for the 2 of us. You have the best fish & chips in Cornwall! (Apr 2012)
